How to replace rv sewer valve.

Maintenance is easy and inexpensive.
Many rvers like to leave the gray valve open so they can liberally use the shower and run sink water without having to worry about filling up the gray tank.
The grey water valve would not close all the way.
Once you re done with your little road trip you will need to hook back up to the sewer and try to open the rv waste valve again.
Of course the black valve can never be left open since solids will build up in the black holding tank when the liquids run out.
The sewer connection allows you to leave your rv s gray valve open so water can run right out instead of filling up your gray tank.
Alternatively storing your rv for long periods of time can cause the material in your rv s dump valve to dry out and become stiff and difficult to open.
However doing so can allow sewer gases to travel from the sewer system up your sewer hose.
It may sound stupid but it works and once you get the tank dumped it will be nice and clean.
